Isn’t it strange how all of us fear them yet it’s likely we will never come into contact with one in our entire lives? Unless we go to the zoo or seek one out somehow.

Just the image strikes fear in me that nothing else in my life has, I think it’s through nurture; media like Indiana Jones or even James Bond, with men I’ve idolized, fearing or feeling threatened by snakes.
Being raised Catholic and reading about snakes, Even the word makes me look twice around me, It’s all very strange to me as no other creature frightens me the same way, giving me anxiety, nightmares, irrational thoughts.
